The Family Community Church meeting starts at 10.00am on Sundays at Roselea Public School (map). At all our meetings, we gather together because we are convinced that God has revealed Himself to us through the Bible and He continues to speak in the words of the Bible. With this Word of God, we teach and encourage each other to trust God to save us and make us like His dear son, Jesus.
This means that during our meeting we read the Bible together and hear it preached, usually by our minister. We pray to God together and sing the truth about Jesus to each other.
Our 10.00am meeting is an informal family meeting where children are very welcome. If your children can be a bit rowdy, that is ok with us. Our members come from a variety of cultural backgrounds, reflecting the local community.
We spend the first half of the meeting together in the main school hall. During this time we sing, pray and hear the Bible read to us. Then we have a short break for parents to settle their children into Kids Church. This enables the parents to listen to the preaching of God's Word without distraction while the children enjoy hearing God's word taught to them at an age-appropriate level.
How long is a church meeting at Carlingford Presbyterian? Most of our meetings take around an hour for the formal service. Then everyone is invited to stay around for morning tea.
